Der Hammerflügel wurde um 1794 von der Firma "Frère et Soeur Stein d’ Augsbourg a Vienne" in Wien gebaut. Er besteht aus Fichtenholz, furniert mit Kirschbaum. Die Oberfläche ist mit Schellack poliert. Seine äußeren Konturen erinnern noch sehr an den Vorläufer, das Cembalo. Der Flügel ist bis heute spielbar.
